About us

Clambakes of Massachusetts is owned and operated by Kevin Cohn. Kevin grew up around clambakes, his father Ron, founded Clambakes of CT over 30 years ago. From a young age, Kevin learned the catering business from all angles. Above all, Kevin learned that every event should be treated like it was for his own family. After years of helping with Connecticut weddings and events, Kevin started Clambakes of Massachusetts in 2010. 

We have had the pleasure in assisting with thousands of clambakes. As a result, we have learned exactly what is needed to ensure a successful event. Great locally sourced food, a beautiful presentation and a service staff that pays attention to each intricate detail. Our only mission is to deliver a delicious experience, that your guests will always remember.  

The New England clambake is our specialty. The lobster is the hallmark of any good Massachusetts clambake. We only serve fresh caught Maine lobsters. All of our clambakes also include littleneck clams and homemade New England clam chowder. Don’t worry if you have guests who don’t enjoy seafood. Our clambakes can also include hand cut Angus steaks. Our BBQ Ribs and pulled pork are also a great choice and are seasoned and smoked in house with homemade ingredients. Red smashed potatoes, sweet corn on the cob and a list of appetizers and side dishes to round out the menu.

While we have several preset menus, you are more than welcome to design your own. Whatever the event, we customize the experience to make your clambake delicious and memorable including the menu and the presentation.
